Sailing from Galveston Texas
With her dramatic walls of glass and Egyptian-themed Solarium spa and pool,
covered by a retractable glass canopy,  has already
Rhapsody of the embarked
on a course that other cruise ships will someday follow.
 The beautiful 4.5-Star
Royal Caribbean
Rhapsody of the Seas sails to Ocho Rios Jamaica (or Key West
Florida on some cruise dates), George Town in Grand Cayman, and Cozumel Mexico!
Take a look at the photos/info below and you'll see why this ship has earned one of
the highest cruise ship Ratings, at 4.5-Stars!

Come aboard Royal Caribbean 's RHAPSODY OF THE SEAS for this
fabulous voyage to the Western Caribbean.
 Snorkel, sun, and splash during
a week in the Western Caribbean. Sail roundtrip from convenient Galveston aboard
the RHAPSODY OF THE SEAS.  Spend a late night in colorful Key West or climb
Dunns River Falls in Jamaica.  Visit Stingray City in Grand Cayman.  Finally, swim with
dolphins or watch for coral heads and seafans in the waters of Cozumel.

The multilevel Centrum is the hub of this ship. It's an airy, light-filled atrium
with gliding glass elevators, palm trees, panoramic windows, gleaming brass,
and chairs and low tables placed in cozy groupings.
Most passengers gather
here for a pre-dinner cocktail as live music plays in the background. Other popular
spots include the convivial Schooner Bar, the elegant champagne bar and the
Solarium, a serene, glass-enclosed pool area with a retractable ceiling. The Viking
Crown Lounge is a Royal Caribbean signature; floating 11 decks above the ocean, it's
an observation point by day and a pulsating dance club at night. There's also a casino
and show lounge. Go for a seaside jog on the top deck, spend a few pampering hours
at the spa or work out with a view at the ShipShape Fitness Center. The Windjammer
Caf is a casual alternative to the formal, two-level Edelweiss Dining Room.

                                       Edelweiss Dining Room

In addition to the formal dining room, guests can grab a more casual bite in
the Windjammer Cafe or take a drink in one of the many indoor and outdoor
cocktail lounges.
Other facilities include a beauty shop, casino and card room,
library, photo gallery, conference room, fitness center and spa, outdoor swimming
pool, indoor swimming pool (with a sliding-glass roof), six hot tubs, solarium, jogging
track, video game center, shuffleboard, medical center, and shopping gallery. Children
and teens can enjoy facilities, menus, and programs created with them in mind.

There is a different view around every corner on Royal Caribbean's Rhapsody
of the Seas, built with over two acres of windows.
Enjoy panoramic vistas while
savoring a brandy in the Explorers Club, or take a rejuvenating stroll around the
observation deck to the special stargazing observatory where you can explore the
heavens as well as the seas. Catch up with your reading after a leisurely
late-afternoon tea in the Windjammer Cafe while cruising the most spectacular ports in
the world. Then, wander over to the spa for some extra pampering before dinner,
which you can enjoy in your stateroom or in one of the spectacular restaurants, like
the two-tiered Edelweiss Dining Room.

Your adventure starts here. Whatever you do, you will go home smiling!

Galveston, TX
Situated on the Gulf of Mexico 40 miles southeast of Houston, Galveston is a relaxed
beach town with a rich history. Magnificent homes on Broadway, and many new
museums recall Galveston's era of wealth and prosperity in the late 1800s. Continuing
its legacy as the city's social center, The Strand is home to art galleries, shopping and
seasonal festivals. Moody Gardens features a rainforest enclosed in a 10-story
pyramid, an aquarium and an interactive space exhibit.  This Queen City of the Gulf is
famous not only for its breathtaking Victorian architecture, but for its seafood, tropical
scenery and 32 miles of beautiful beaches!

Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Jamaica is a tropical island of lush green vegetation, waterfalls and dazzling white
beaches.  Once known as a sleepy fishing village, this favored Caribbean cruise port
is now a flourishing tourist target. Shopping plazas are popular hotspots for buying
arts and crafts, while the beautiful Dunns River Falls is Jamaica's best-known
attraction.  Shawpark Gardens features decorative roses and flowers surrounding a
pristine cascading spring.  Or try the popular Dolphin City excursion where you can
swim and perform tricks with their friendly dolphins.

-OR-

Key West, FL (Alternate destination to Ocho Rios)
Key West is the southernmost point in the United States. This friendly town appears to
be the Bahamas, New Orleans and Florida rolled into one. The tiny island, just two
miles by four miles, can be easily navigated on foot or bicycle, but the Conch Tour
Train is popular. The chief points of interest here include Mel Fisher's Maritime
Heritage Museum, the Ernest Hemingway House, the Audubon House and the Robert
Frost cottage. Visitors won't want to miss out on Hemingway's favorite watering hole -
Sloppy Joe's - or Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.

George Town, Grand Cayman
Grand Cayman is one of a group of three islands Christopher Columbus called
"Las Tortugas" (the turtles) for the sea creatures he found in the ocean water.
Among other attractions, visitors to the island will enjoy learning about the
turtles, seeing the town of Hell, and viewing exotic undersea creatures.  You can
explore the aquatic underworld of Georgetown in the Atlantis XI Submarine and
photograph coloured canyons, sponge formations and sundry marine life.   Stop
at the Conch Shell House -- constructed entirely of the trumpet shells of the
mollusk, or visit Turtle Town, a nursery where sea turtles are raised.

Cozumel, Mexico
Just off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula sits the island of Cozumel, draped in
lush, tropical vegetation. The word-famous reefs that fringe the island beckon
divers and snorkelers alike. The most popular shore excursions include
snorkeling on famous Palancar Reef, or a beginner dive at Paraiso Reef.
Safari Jeep rides and horseback tours also offer tremendous excursions
through temples, caves, beaches and ruins. A land tour will provide a nice taste
of Mexico - Cozumel has done much to retain its Mexican character. Tourists
may also want to take a short trip inland to visit the great pyramids and temples
of the Mayas.

SHIP FEATURES...

Onboard Experience

Royal Caribbean
proved you can build a large ship without sacrificing the
sense of being at sea, with this light-filled ship. Enormous panels of glass
throughout this vessel brings the sea and sky inside, resulting in a sense of
openness. Cruisers in their 20's to 40's will enjoy the hot disco and casino while
those more laid-back will discover a superb library, movies, ballroom dancing
and cool jazz.

Entertainment:
Royal Caribbean stands out in its high level of entertainment, including
Broadway revues, "name" performers, comedians. Lounge performers are also
excellent and there are venues for ballroom dancing plus disco.

Fitness:
Vision-class ships have a putting area above the Solarium. The main pool on
Sun Deck is adjacent to the Solarium. A stunning glass-enclosed second pool
has whirlpools and comfy lounge chairs. In the "ShipShape" fitness centre, you'll
find a spa operated by Steiner's of London (expect them to push the sale of the
products during treatments) and a large gym with all the training equipment you
can want.

Restaurants:
The two-story restaurant, which is a light-filled room with a raised platform for a
pianist or a small ensemble, is mid-ship. While large enough to handle a
thousand people per seating, tables are well spaced and the room doesn't feel
crowded. At the forward end of the Sun Deck is the Windjammer Café. With
floor-to-ceiling windows, it is the setting for casual breakfast, lunch or afternoon
tea. It also serves as an alternative dining room at night for those seeking a
casual dinner.
